Yes! Rentals are available to residents of the contiguous 48 United States. We do not offer rentals in Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Territories, or other countries.

The Cradlewise Rental Program (powered by Whim) gives families access to the full Cradlewise Smart Crib experience without the upfront cost of purchasing. Rentals start at $129/month with no long-term commitment, no security deposit, and no cancellation fees.

Every Cradlewise rental includes:

  • Cradlewise Smart Crib

  • Nurture Core subscription

  • Free shipping both ways

  • No-cost replacements if needed

  • Dedicated customer support

You get the complete Cradlewise experience, including the same app, sleep insights, and soothing technology available to all Cradlewise families.


How does billing work?

Rentals are billed month-to-month. There is no minimum rental period, so you only pay for the time you need the crib.


Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. You can return your rental whenever you no longer need it. There are no cancellation fees or penalties. Just reach out to us at support@whim.com or log into your account at rent.cradlewise.com.


Is there a security deposit?

No. There is no security deposit required to get started.


How does shipping work?

Shipping is free in both directions. Whim handles delivery to your home, and when you're ready to return, you'll receive a return label at no cost to you.


Are rental units safe and clean?

Yes. Each Certified Cradlewise crib is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized with eco-friendly, non-toxic, hospital-grade disinfectants.

Each crib undergoes a detailed inspection covering:

  • Structural integrity

  • Safety-critical components

  • Smart monitoring systems

  • Soothing and motion performance

  • Electronics and connectivity

  • Camera functionality

  • Cosmetic condition

  • Overall cleanliness

Only cribs that pass the full inspection are approved for rental. The crib is professionally cleaned and sanitized before shipment. Mattress covers and fitted sheets are replaced with completely new bedding. Mattresses are vacuum cleaned or replaced if required.


What if something isn't working?

If you experience an issue with your rental unit, contact our customer support team. Replacement support is included with your rental at no additional cost.
