If you’re referring to the bounce / sound level set from your Home screen - in Smart mode, the crib treats any change of the levels done on the Home screen as an in-the-moment ‘teaching’ cue. The Smart mode still remains in control and moves the levels as the baby’s sleep state moves towards sleep or wakefulness. To have the crib follow your setting as-is for some time, you can use the lock feature in your Soothing card to ‘lock’ the Smart mode at your choice of bounce and sound for the next 10, 20 or 30 minutes (lock timer).

If you’d like to have complete control of bounce / sound with no decisions taken by the Smart mode, you can navigate to Settings > Soothing > Mode under bounce or sound and toggle this to Manual.
