Cradlewise is equipped with a camera (that also has night vision) and is fitted with microphones. This helps in monitoring both the audio and video 24/7. The field of view of the camera is restricted to the crib.

From the home screen/ monitor, tap on the Speaker icon below the Picture in Picture icon.

You will see three Audio monitor selections to turn Off, On, and leave Audio monitoring Always On.

The default for audio monitoring is turned OFF. When you're ready to listen in, turn it ON to hear your baby while the app is open.

If audio is ON and you open another app, Cradliewise goes to the background. The audio from the Cradlewise app will stop. ON works for audio monitoring only when the Cradlewise app is in the foreground.

If you want to hear the monitor even when the Cradlewies app is in the background, or if your phone sleeps, use the "ALWAYS ON" option. If you're using another app that requires sound (video, music, etc) both apps' sound will be layered on top of each other.

From iOS you can adjust the volume of the audio monitor for your device's volume control buttons.

From Android you can adjust the volume of the audio monitor by tapping on the Speaker icon and adjusting the ‘Audio monitor volume’ slider, aside from your device’s volume buttons.
