Smart mode, in both bounce or sound, enables Cradlewise to soothe your baby to sleep automatically.

Smart mode will automatically adjust the volume for sound as your baby stirs and falls back asleep.

You can select the “volume limit” of your levels by going to Settings > Soothing >Sound > Volume Limit and adjusting the Smart mode’s maximum (Level 4) volume to suit your comfort. All levels used for Soothing will lie inside of your selected volume limit.

The 100% volume of our sound machine corresponds to sound just inside of ~65 dB, which is within safe limits. So even when turned up to maximum volume, our crib’s white noise is safe for your baby.

The volume may be louder if the crib is on hardwood or tile than on carpet. This is because the crib’s sound machine is positioned at the bottom of the crib. If you have a carpeted floor, the 100% volume of the sound machine might correspond to a ~55dB sound instead of 65dB.
