If you have recently changed your Wi-Fi router or network and need to reconnect your Cradlewise crib to the new network, follow the steps below. This guide ensures a seamless reconnection process and helps you avoid any disruptions.
β
Step 1: Forget the Cradlewise Bluetooth Connection
On your phone, navigate to Bluetooth settings.
Look for any device named "Cradlewise" in the list of paired devices.
Tap on the device name and select Forget or Unpair (depending on your phone's operating system).
βThis step ensures a fresh connection attempt between your phone and the crib.
Step 2: Reconfigure Wi-Fi Settings in the Cradlewise App
Open the Cradlewise app on your phone.
Go to Settings > Crib > WiFi.
Tap on Reconfigure Wi-Fi to start the setup process.
βThe app will guide you through the steps to connect your crib to the new Wi-Fi network.
Important Note:
Ensure your phone and the crib are connected to the same Wi-Fi network during the setup process.
If your new router supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, ensure your phone is connected to the same frequency band you want your crib to use.
Troubleshooting Tips
If the crib fails to connect, double-check the Wi-Fi credentials entered in the app.
Restart your router and try the process again.
Ensure the crib is within range of the Wi-Fi signal.
Check if your phone's Bluetooth is enabled, as it is required during the setup process.
